Private School and Gymnasium in Novi Sad with an International Approach

For our family, Clever School has become something more than just a school. After we moved, our new life gradually began to take shape around it: new acquaintances, friends, a sense of support and a very human warmth.

The school has a very friendly atmosphere in which children feel calm and safe being themselves. The teachers are attentive and understanding, able to see the child as a person, not just… grades and results. It is very valuable that children learn without constant pressure and fear of making mistakes. They have space to make friends, create, try new things and develop at their own pace, with a real interest in life.

Here children are not just given knowledge; they are given an environment in which their unique abilities can unfold. It is especially valuable that the teachers encourage creative initiative and always treat children with respect.

I want to express huge gratitude to our school for its warm, supportive and truly family-like atmosphere. Our child is in the primary grades here, and for us the experience has been exceptionally positive. We were looking for a place where our child would be treated as an individual, and we found it.

The teachers are true professionals: they spark interest in their subject and see each child's potential, so… children genuinely want to learn. The entire staff are incredibly kind and responsive people, and our child goes to school happily. The administration and teachers are always available, and it feels like we are one team.

On the first day I left my children at school, I was full of fear: would they start speaking English, would anyone understand them? Then small things began happening when they came home: they spoke English, communicated, and played with other children, excitedly retelling their day. They can’t wait to go back to school. That’s when I knew I made the right decision. My children are safe and secure at… school. It’s not just a place where children learn; it’s a place where they grow and are understood.

We’ve had a great experience at Clever School in Novi Sad. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive, and teachers are attentive, explaining even complex topics clearly. The school strongly develops communication and public speaking skills, which are essential for future studies. Although classes are in English, Serbian is also well taught, and our daughter now speaks Russian, Serbian, and English fluently. The modern approach, with practical work, teamwork, and discussions,… makes learning engaging. The facilities are comfortable and well-equipped. Our daughter has become more confident and made many friends. I highly recommend this school.

We decided to step away from the traditional path because we wanted an international environment that prioritizes critical thinking and individual attention. My child’s health and safety are my top priorities, and at Clever School the environment and approach to students create the healthiest atmosphere for development. I chose Clever because of its combined program, where students follow the Cambridge curriculum alongside the national one. I especially appreciate the individual approach to each child, as well as learning through practical work and conversation.

We’re very happy with Clever School. Our children (Stanislav 15 y.o and Taisiia 9 y.o) study in both the primary and Cambridge gymnasium programs, and they truly enjoy going to school every day. The friendly atmosphere helped them adapt quickly, make friends, and feel confident. We especially appreciate the strong language environment: the kids naturally use English and Serbian every day while also continuing their Russian studies. It’s also great… that children stay busy at school, have meals there, and complete most of their homework during the day. The teachers and administration are supportive, approachable, and genuinely care about the students. We’re glad to see our children growing and learning here, and we look forward to continuing this journey with Clever School
